Today, I hosted a free teleseminar for the Moms Making Money Organization on blogging. It was led by Wendy Maynard for gomarketingmaven.com. She is so open to sharing her vast marketing knowledge that I had to stop for moment in my busy day and encourage you to go and sign up for her newsletter.
I use the word “open” to describe Wendy because in my experience in connecting with other entrepreneurs I have found that most embrace the “I’ll tell ya, but it’s gonna cost ya” mentality….even if you just want basic information. I know it works well for them, but it is a real turn off for me. I found Wendy to be just the opposite. She will tell ya, and even explain it again if you want her to. Then she will charge ya to help you apply it in the correct way. What a concept!
Makes complete strangers want to give her an unsolicited testimonial. Like I just did.
I’m a huge believer in giving with your whole heart instead of giving with the expectation of monetary reward. I believe that money effortlessly connects with you when you are being authentic and “open”. This belief system works for me and I’m certain it will work for you too.
One important thing that I did learn during the teleseminar today was the importance of allowing readers to comment on my blog. What can I say? I’m a novice. So I’m going to allow that "open" dialog to commence with this post.
